About the artist: Faith Marie Aliño
A Filipina contemporary artist and multi-passionate creator blending faith, art, and purpose.

Faith Marie Aliño—also known as Dhyana Mitta in some circles—is a Filipina artist, wife, mom, and entrepreneur with a passion for blending creativity and purpose. Faith’s journey weaves together art, music, business, and spirituality, creating a space where these worlds converge. From leading businesses to performing music and creating visual art, she thrives on the beauty of diversity and the chaos of balancing it all.
As a former Bisaya hip-hop artist, Faith performed under the name Dhyana Mitta, where she found her voice through rhythm, rhyme, and raw storytelling. Her years in the underground music scene weren’t just about performance—they were about presence, poetry, and claiming space as a Filipina/Cebuana. Through her lyrical work, she championed introspection, cultural pride, and emotional honesty, laying the groundwork for the storytelling style she now carries into Mamamitta. The Journey Behind Mamamitta
Mamamitta wasn’t born overnight. It’s a reflection of Faith’s personal journey—a journey shaped by creativity, faith, resilience, and a deep desire to create something that serves a higher purpose.
Faith has always been driven by a sense of purpose—whether it was through her work as a Filipina artist, her entrepreneurial ventures, or her passion for helping others find clarity in their lives. Along the way, she discovered that her true calling was nurturing growth, fostering creativity, and creating spaces for reflection—spaces that help people not only connect with themselves but also with something greater than themselves.
The idea for Mamamitta emerged as Faith began to feel the pull to blend her diverse worlds. As she juggled her roles as a wife and mom, a businesswoman, an artist, and a spiritual seeker, she realized that these pieces of her life—though seemingly chaotic—were all intertwined. Mamamitta was born out of the desire to create a space where creativity, faith, and reflection could coexist harmoniously, without the pressure to be anything other than what it is.
Drawing from her own experiences with surrendering to God’s will, Mamamitta is designed to help others do the same. It’s a space that invites people to pause, reflect, and create with intention. Through thoughtful tools, artworks, and stories, Mamamitta provides the stillness needed for people to reconnect with their faith, their creativity, and their purpose. Each piece of content created is shaped by Faith’s personal experiences and her deep-rooted belief in the importance of living with intention, purpose, and clarity.
Mamamitta isn’t just about products or tools—it’s a community, a journey, and a space for growth. It’s where people can come to find peace, inspiration, and connection, as they navigate their own paths of self-discovery, creativity, and faith.
The Name Behind Mamamitta
Faith’s previous artist name, Dhyana Mitta, reflects her time as a Pinay femcee and her spiritual journey. In Sanskrit, "Dhyana" means spiritual meditation, and "Mitta" means friend—together, "Dhyana Mitta" translates to "Spiritual Meditation Friend." This name represented Faith’s exploration into music and spirituality, and her connection to the inner world. As Faith’s journey evolved, so did her name.
The name Mamamitta emerged from the Cebuano endearment "mamita," meaning "Little Mama"—a playful, loving twist that reflects both nurturing and growth. But Mamamitta is more than just wordplay. It represents evolution—a name that captures the transformation of Faith's artistry, motherhood, and entrepreneurial spirit, now blended together to create something truly special.
